Burn beautifully.
For an even burn, let your candle melt fully to the edges the first time — about 2 hours. Before each use, trim the wick to ¼ inch to help prevent black smoke and soot. For best results, avoid burning longer than 3 hours at a time and keep the wax pool free of debris. Never leave your candle unattended.

L’Étang Noir takes its name from an enchanted black lake where my childhood days were spent fishing, exploring, and slipping into stillness. This deep, nostalgic scent opens with soft tobacco flower and unfolds into warm vanilla, anise, clove, and nutmeg — a rich, spiced blend that lingers with quiet intensity.

Recycling instructions

Our candle jars are likely curbside recyclable. Once your candle has burned down, allow it to cool, then remove any remaining wax and the wick base. Use hot water to help loosen leftover wax, then rinse before placing in your glass recycling. The box is made from 100% FSC-certified paper and can be recycled with your curbside paper goods.

"I love this candle. Its scent is a mixture of spicy/floral. The floral scent is subtle and not overpowering as many can be. It has woody undertones making it the PERFECT scent. I also have No. 04 candle however, that candle is solidly sandalwood scented, which is ok but not my personal preference. It’s too one dimensional for me. This candle is definitely what I was looking for. It also carries well without being overpowering. It seems to burn very slowly and cleanly. It’s worth the price and I will be a repeat customer of the No. 03 candle - so excited about the find!"
