For an even burn, let your candle melt fully to the edges the first time — about 2 hours. Before each use, trim the wick to ¼ inch to help prevent black smoke and soot. For best results, avoid burning longer than 3 hours at a time and keep the wax pool free of debris. Never leave your candle unattended.

Bois de Balincourt is inspired by our family home, nestled deep within an ancient forest. Along a trail we fondly called Lover’s Lane, generations wandered under towering trees, surrounded by stillness and memory. This signature scent layers creamy sandalwood and cedar with warming cinnamon and nutmeg, anchored by earthy vetiver — a romantic, comforting fragrance with effortless depth.

Recycling instructions

Our candle jars are likely curbside recyclable. Once your candle has burned down, allow it to cool, then remove any remaining wax and the wick base. Use hot water to help loosen leftover wax, then rinse before placing in your glass recycling. The box is made from 100% FSC-certified paper and can be recycled with your curbside paper goods.
