Our diffuser utilizes exceptional quality fragrance oils and is alcohol free. To achieve optimum results, remove the bottle stopper and place the reeds in the bottle on a flat and stable surface. The diffuser will release the illustrious Bois de Balincourt fragrance for around 3 months and to enhance the fragrance from time to time simply flip the reeds over.

Bois de Balincourt is inspired by our family home, nestled deep within an ancient forest. Along a trail we fondly called Lover’s Lane, generations wandered under towering trees, surrounded by stillness and memory. This signature scent layers creamy sandalwood and cedar with warming cinnamon and nutmeg, anchored by earthy vetiver — a romantic, comforting fragrance with effortless depth.

"I bought the Bois de Balincourt candle and home diffuser together, after reading a very positive review on NY Times Wirecutter. I previously liked another Wirecutter-recommended candle from Scandanisk, so I thought this was a safe buy. I recently received the package and gave the candle a sniff (without lighting it) and frankly thought the scent was unappealing. To me, it smelled very "perfumy", like the kind a matronly woman would wear (not that there's anything wrong with that, but just not what I want wafting around my living space. Then. . . . I see that Maison Louis Marie has a NO RETURN policy."

Q&A

How long will the defuser last? And approx what size room will the scent reach?
Hi! The diffuser should last for about 3 months and you can flip the reeds over from time to time which should help the throw of the diffuser. Our diffusers should do well in about 500-750 square feet but sometimes depends on the airflow of the room etc.
Do you provide refills so I don’t need to buy a whole set again when the oil runs out?
HI! We are working on this but won't likely have refills until next year.
