Bois de Balincourt is inspired by our family home, nestled deep within an ancient forest. Along a trail we fondly called Lover’s Lane, generations wandered under towering trees, surrounded by stillness and memory. This signature scent layers creamy sandalwood and cedar with warming cinnamon and nutmeg, anchored by earthy vetiver — a romantic, comforting fragrance with effortless depth.

"I found this perfume in a little store in the middle of nowhere in New Mexico and it's been my signature scent ever since. I was head over heels the moment I smelled it, and although I'm sensitive to fragrances, the ingredients in Maison Louis Marie products have never been irritating to me. I just love it and I'm so grateful it exists. It goes with me everywhere as the little glass bottle fits perfectly in my wristlet. Does this oil come in perfume ?
Why yes it does. The No.04 comes in Eau de Parfum form as well as perfume oil. We also have it in deodorant / wash / candle / lotion and Body Oil too! Cheers,
Any tips on how to improve sillage? Love the scent but only I can smell it when it’s on (applied to neck and wrists). Am I missing a trick on application?
Hi! Thank you very much for your inquiry. So technically teh perfume oils contain more fragrance but they don't leave as much of a tail and emanate as much form the body. The best practice is to use the EDP and also layer the perfume oil as well if you want to leave an impression
Oil versus eau: I bought the eau at Sephora and returned it because it smelled very gourmand which is not my thing—then someone gifted me the oil and I love it! Only I wish it lasted longer and had more projection. Does the eau smell differently than the oil to others?
Hi! We try to keep the EDPS and Perfume Oils smelling exactly the same. Due to the nature of the bases they may react differently. With the No.04 generally we don't have issues like the one you are describing and perhaps in your situation where you are looking for a stronger projection you may want to layer both the EDP and perfume oil since the EDP will help with the projection while the oil may balance out the "gourmand" effect.
